Situated in the southwestern part of the city, it is the biggest public park in Changchun. It covers an area of 2.22 million square meters including a lake of 930,000 square meters. There is an isle in the Lake. A pavilion bridge and a "jade girdle" bridge link the isle with the north bank. In addition to boating, the lake is available for skating in winter.
